As an IFG Production Technician you will work in a wide variety of manufacturing functions. You will learn basic to advanced operations for each machine center at the mill, gain the knowledge to assist with basic trouble shooting and repair of equipment, as well as clean-up duties. POSITION EXPECTATIONS: Support IFG’s Safety program and ensure management awareness of safety issues, including annual budgeting requirements. Establish and prioritize safety program goals, objectives, and procedures. Identify safety training requirements and provide training for team members. Implement accident prevention programs. Assist in conducting incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Perform workplace hazards analysis, and environmental health and safety audits. Write technical reports, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety and Environmental Policies and be able to present these to others.
