Job Purpose

This position will support our Tax team as a Summer Intern from June 2026 – August 2026 and will be based in Nashville. This is a paid, full-time internship. This internship will offer hands-on experience in corporate income tax compliance, provision support, tax research, and indirect taxes. The intern will work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to real-world tax processes in a dynamic business environment.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist with preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns
  • Support quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations (ASC 740)
  • Help gather and organize financial data for tax filings and audits
  • Perform basic tax research and summarize findings for the team
  • Assist in maintaining tax workpapers and documentation
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects

What do I need to be successful?

  • Basic knowledge of accounting and tax concepts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Time management skills

Education

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Accounting or Tax
  • Must have an expected graduation date of August 2026 or later
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher

Work Environment

  • This position will work at home and in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule
