Position Summary:
The Janitorial and Sawmill Cleanup performs yard care, cleans the offices and breakrooms, and assists with sawmill and planer clean-up.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Comply with safety standards at all times and correct/report any observed safety hazards.
Clean offices and breakrooms including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disposing of trash, and scrubbing restrooms.
Clean food preparation areas including appliances such as microwaves, refrigerators, and freezers.
Clean glass surfaces and mirrors.
Perform quarterly deep cleaning including interior windows, oiling the wood paneling, and shampooing carpets and rugs. Clean exterior windows bi-annually in the spring and fall.
Maintain the upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products.
Ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job.
