The Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, intermediate mechanical repairs, and equipment inspections on rolling stock and heavy equipment. The Mechanic will support advanced technicians while independently completing routine and moderately complex mechanical tasks to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient equipment operation.

POSITION SUMMARY The Journeyman Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment within the mill. This includes conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and other critical systems used in milling operations, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance.  The Journeyman Millwright ensures that equipment operates efficiently and safely to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
