We are currently considering applicants for several Forester I, II, and III positions based in Mount Shasta, Redding, and Diamond Springs, California.  Salary and Benefits : These are non-exempt positions with pay ranging from $16-22/hr for Forester I, $20-28/hr for Forester II and $25-35/hr for Forester III. Pay is based on education, experience and qualifications. Travel on the job is paid both ways, overtime is paid per State and Federal law. Set per-diem rates for out of town work. National Forest Foundation (NFF)  is pleased to offer 2 full-time, term (One (1) 2-year term and one (1) 3-year term), exempt positions that will support restoration, recreation and forest resilience projects on the Umpqua and Rogue River - Siskiyou National Forests in Southern Oregon. Position Function:  The Southern Oregon Project Coordinator supports planning, implementation, and evaluation of conservation initiatives in Southern Oregon, with a focus on priority work on the Umpqua and Rogue River–Siskiyou National Forests. Core duties include coordination across watershed restoration, recreation improvements, and forest resilience efforts. The role also contributes to reforestation initiatives; reforestation technical expertise is beneficial.
