KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Contributing to cost reduction initiatives for responsible locations. • Evaluate Supplier quotes and services. • Prepares and processes purchasing orders. • Maintains cooperative working relationship with Suppliers to stay current with trends and technologies, products, and services. • Resolves problems and issues arising from purchases of goods, services, supplies and equipment with internal and external customers. • Monitors On-Time Deliveries (OTD). • Expedite shipments. • Prepares documentation for product to be Returned to Vendor (RTV). • Actively participate in required training and development programs and electives as suits one’s needs, and support colleagues, trainers, and management as appropriate with these efforts. • Other duties as needed.
