Position Summary:
The Bridge Crane Operator operates an overhead crane to move lumber packs from racks to outfeed lumber decks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Comply with safety standards at all times and correct/report any observed safety hazards.
Stack lumber in bunks and produce identification tags.
Band packs with suitable banding equipment.
Perform startup and shutdown equipment inspections. Perform weekly PM inspections.
Report manufacturing defects to the supervisor.
