POSITION SUMMARY  The Manager – Capital Engineering, Southern Division is responsible for leading the engineering development and day-to-day execution of capital projects across IFG’s Lumberton, Mississippi and Louisville, Alabama manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Director – Capital Projects, Southern Division, this position translates the approved capital plan into safely executed, technically sound and financially controlled projects. The Mechanical Maintenance Manager leads and develops the mechanical maintenance organization for IFG’s state-of-the-art sawmill located in Lumberton, MS. This role builds on the existing foundation of maintenance systems and practices, oversees mill reliability, trains and develops the maintenance team, and ensures safe, efficient operation of all mechanical assets. There is a significant focus on data-driven maintenance approaches and overseeing business processes through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).  This role involves collaborating with other departments to meet production targets, improve overall operational efficiency, and ensure alignment with financial goals.
