The Reforestation Intern’s primary duties include: aiding in area layout and preparation, vegetation cover assessments, stocking surveys, and plantation thinning administration. This position provides an excellent opportunity to observe spotted owls from many known sites. Last season, our crew documented over 800 spotted owl sites.
