Large Forklift Operator

Abbeville Fiber is seeking a Large Forklift Operator at their Abbeville location. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits packag

Essential Duties:

 ·        Efficiently load, unload, and transport heavy oversized items using a high-capacity Taylor 360 forklift

·         Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around logs, lumber, and/or other materials 

·         Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.

·         Inventories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed

·         Perform daily safety and maintenance checks 

Education and/or Experience:

 ·         High School diploma or GED preferred

·         Must have previous forklift experience

·         sawmill experience a plus!
