Chokersetter

Green Diamond is seeking a Chokersetter to join our Woods Operations team. This is a high‑intensity, physically demanding role working outdoors in rugged forest environments.

The primary responsibility of this position is to place and secure chokers around logs so they can be safely removed from the woods. This role requires substantial physical strength, endurance, and the ability to work efficiently in challenging conditions.

Duties include:
-Pulling and handling heavy choker cables
-Lifting, setting, and securing chokers around logs
-Assisting with road changes, yarder setup, and other heavy labor tasks associated with cable logging
-Working safely around moving equipment and on uneven, steep, and brushy terrain
-Performing all tasks outdoors in all weather conditions

This job involves continuous physical exertion throughout the workday. Applicants must be prepared for strenuous activity and variable environmental conditions.
