Westervelt Wildlife Services is recognized as a premier provider of hunting lease management and wildlife consulting services. Our team of certified wildlife biologists works directly with landowners, hunters, and natural resource professionals to improve wildlife habitat, enhance recreational opportunities, and support long-term conservation goals.
As a Wildlife Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced wildlife professionals, gain real-world field experience, and contribute to meaningful projects that impact wildlife populations and habitat management across thousands of acres.
Position Overview
Westervelt Wildlife Services is seeking a highly motivated Wildlife Intern for Summer 2027. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in wildlife management, habitat improvement, hunting lease operations, and land stewardship while working with professional wildlife biologists and recreation managers.
This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Wildlife Sciences, Natural Resources, Forestry, Conservation Biology, or related disciplines who are eager to apply classroom knowledge in real-world field settings.
The internship is based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. A housing allowance will be provided.
