Position Overview
Westervelt Wood Products is seeking a motivated and curious student to join our Wood Procurement Team for Summer 2027. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in timber harvesting, wood procurement, contractor management, landowner relations, and forest operations.
As an intern, you won't just observe, you'll actively participate in real projects that support mill operations and timber procurement activities. You'll work closely with procurement foresters and industry professionals, gaining valuable experience that complements your classroom learning and prepares you for a career in forestry.
This position is based in Moundville, Alabama or Thomasville, Alabama. A housing allowance will be provided.
